The new Clearly Renewables range from Glow-worm is one of the most comprehensive ranges of renewable heating technologies available on the UK market. Tailored specifically for domestic heating and hot water applications, and all delivering low energy consumption, the renewable range provides reduced carbon emissions and significant savings on running costs.
Glow-worm’s Clearly Solar is designed specifically for use on UK homes, and offers everything you need to look for in a flat plate solar thermal solution. Clearly Solar will deliver 50-60% of domestic hot water requirements every year, and in the summertime this figure can be as high as 100% which means that the boiler may never have to fire up, thereby saving homeowners both energy and money.
Clearly Solar comes in a simple pack containing everything needed for a solar thermal installation. The flat plate collectors are made from black anodised aluminium, so they are hard wearing, robust and will subtly blend into the roof. If the inclination or aspect of the roof is not perfectly suited for a solar installation, Clearly Solar can also be installed on easily assembled A-frames for siting on a flat roof or in a garden.
Glow-worm’s new Clearly Heat Pumps utilise next generation technology to offer a wide range of easy to use, advanced air to water heat pump systems. Available in a choice of 5, 7 12 and 14kW models the new heat pump systems offer a complete home heating solution which combines high performance renewable technology with straightforward and hassle free installation.
Sold as an advanced system, the new range features unique system architecture; comprised of 5 key components which work simultaneously to provide highly efficient heating and hot water. The heat pump unit which features innovative inverter compressor technology joins the intelligent installer interface; Systempro, the Hydraulic module SA, a wireless outdoor sensor and the intuitive Climapro2 RF homeowner control to create the new Clearly Heat Pumps system; offering higher efficiencies and an impressive co-efficient of performance, ease of use and straightforward installation.
No F gas qualifications are required to install the system, and there is no need for glycol in the central heating circuit. All components are easily accessible within the compact heat pump unit and no separate expansion vessels or additional buffer vessels are required, making this one of the most installation friendly heat pumps available on the UK market.
Glow-worm’s Clearly Hybrid is the UK’s first hybrid renewable domestic heating and hot water system, which uses advanced controls to automatically select the most cost effective method of domestic heating at any given time. The award winning innovation teams a new Glow-worm High Efficiency boiler, such as the Ultracom2 with Glow-worm’s Envirosorb 5 air to water heat pump, and automatically selects when to use low carbon renewable energy from the heat pump or traditional energy from the High Efficiency boiler, delivering carbon savings of over 40%*.
