Glow-worm at PHEX Manchester and Chelsea

Glow-worm, one of the UK’s most established domestic heating manufacturers will be exhibiting its proven range of high efficiency boilers, intelligent controls and Clearly renewables range, including two exciting new products due for launch this October.

The Glow-worm PHEX stand this year will be showcasing a wide range of heating and hot water solutions including the new Ultracom₂ range of high efficiency boilers. The Ultracom₂ has been designed with a straightforward approach and enhanced usability in mind; offering a range of flexible analogue, digital and external intelligent controls options. The Ultracom₂ is designed specifically to enable a hassle free installation, with both the combi and system boilers offering a spacious internal design with easy access to all components from the front.

Also on display will be the ever popular Flexicom – the first high efficiency boiler on the UK market with a direct rear flue.

Glow-worm also provides a wide range of intelligent controls, with simple push button controls, large screen and neat designs which are easy to use. The Glow-worm range of controls provides the perfect solution for every home. All Glow-worm controls use eBus protocol to talk directly to your Glow-worm boiler, enabling continuous intelligent communication between the two appliances

Also on display will be Glow-worm’s Clearly Renewables range featuring a growing range of solar thermal and air to water heat pump solutions, designed to provide your customers with savings on their energy bills and carbon footprint, whilst offering you a straightforward and hassle free installation.

The Glow-worm Clearly Solar range of solar thermal flat plate systems provides the complete one-stop solution for installers. Delivering up to 60% of your customers domestic hot water every year; The straightforward Clearly Solar range is available for both in-roof and on-roof horizontal and vertical installations. The flat plate collectors are lightweight, robust and are fitted with a black anodised aluminium frame.

At this year’s show, Glow-worm will also be showcasing a revolutionary new domestic heating system launching this October. Clearly Hybrid is the UK’s first dual fuel domestic heating and hot water system which intelligently selects the most cost effective method of heating your customer’s home at any time. Clearly Hybrid combines Glow-worm’s new 5kW Air to water heat pump and a Glow-worm eBus boiler to provide homes with a 7-10 kW heat load with a revolutionary heating system designed to automatically select between the use of gas or electricity based on the outdoor temperatures, in line with your customers specific energy tariffs. In addition to the Cleary Hybrid launch Glow-worm will launch the new Clearly Heat Pumps – 5kW which offers both central heating and Domestic hot water. The Clearly Heat Pump unit offers a slim line, attractive design with very quiet operation. The installation and serving is made simple as the no glycol is needed in the central heating circuit. The Clearly Heat Pump unit also achieves Code for Sustainable Homes level 4.

Clearly Hybrid is the perfect solution for installers with a clear green agenda, and responds to growing consumer demand for heating and hot water systems marrying traditional and renewable technology, whilst also future proofing against any potential energy price fluctuations.
