Drum Hill Scout Camp Boiler Donation

Glow-worm is delighted to support the continued improvement of facilities at Drum Hill Scout Camp with the donation of a new boiler.

The boiler is for the leaders’ hut at the site in Little Eaton that is the county campsite for Derbyshire Scouts. Camp Hill has been welcoming groups to the 80-acre site since 1927 and has been a feature of life for many local families. Generations have used the woodlands and camping fields to explore a range of activities and many have enjoyed overnight stays in the accommodation huts.

Alice Woolley, marketing director at Glow-worm commented, “Facilities such as those offered at Drum Hill are incredibly important for families across the county. Obviously good hygiene is more important than ever, so Glow-worm is especially proud to donate a boiler for the staff facilities. It’s a symbol of our appreciation for the great volunteering work they do to support the development of young people in the area.”
