Glow-worm's Airstream dream

Glow-worm is very proud that its eye-catching Airstream demonstration trailer has been awarded Gold in the Most Effective Stand or Display category at the Field Marketing and Brand Experience (FMBE) awards 2019.

The award recognises and celebrates the eye-catching design of the iconic Airstream, branded to deliver the message that the Glow-worm Mystery Trip is back for loyal Glow-worm installers. The Airstream has been on the road for most of 2019, visiting plumbers’ merchants and trade shows across the UK.

Glow-worm conceived of the promotional vehicle to demonstrate its range of heating products and promote the benefits of its loyalty program, Club Energy. An essential part of the loyalty offering to Glow-worm installers was the relaunched Mystery Trip – an all-expenses paid trip to a mystery exotic location, which is awarded to Glow-worm’s most loyal customers. In 2020, the trip will be to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.

The Glow-worm team worked with Raccoon and Promohire to realise their vision for the promotional vehicle and get the noticeable vehicle on the road. Alice Woolley, Marketing Director for Vaillant Group and the Glow-worm brand commented, “We’ve really ramped-up our investment in the Glow-worm brand for 2019 and a large part of this has been developing the proposition for our loyal installers.
