What is your favourite Glow-worm product and why?

For me it has to be our Energy boiler! Product quality, reliability, and a 10-year warranty when fitted with a power system filter and registered on Club Energy.

How did you get into the industry?

It all started for me working as a personal trainer. I needed to supplement my income in my early 20`s and got a job in the warehouse. It was so much fun, and I loved working with the people. Inspired by an old mentor in the art of selling.

I spent 11 years with the company I first joined, and then took my first steps into manufacturing. Did I ever think I would stay in this industry? Well, it was not a plan of mine as I envisaged myself as fighter pilot or astronaut. But then didn’t we all at that age. However, what I did learn is that I loved to help and support people.

This passion and enthusiasm grew into selling on the merchant counter and I soon realised that I could not be tied down to one spot. I loved the chase, the challenge, and the fast-paced environment of sales management.

Becoming a sales business manager had become my focus. The feeling of completing any challenge set was my passion and over 30 years later nothing has changed.

What are your hobbies and interests? (Heritage, product design, 90 years etc)

I like to de-stress and unwind by hitting the gym several times a week. Helps keep me focused and driven in everything that I do.
